Terms of service
About these terms
This website is operated by Unmuted Original ("we", "us", "our"). By browsing this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy.
You can reach us at info@unmutedoriginal.com.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract between us is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation.
We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item becomes unavailable, if there has been a pricing error, or if we suspect fraudulent use of a payment method. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund you in full.
Pricing and currency
Prices are displayed and charged in your local currency where we support it, and in GBP otherwise. Where your card is held in a different currency, your issuer may apply its own conversion rate or fee.
We work to keep pricing and product information accurate, but errors happen. If we find an error in the price of something you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch. You can then confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
Our products
Our garments are made to order. Because of the nature of washed, dyed and vintage-finished fabrics, minor variation in shade, texture and finish between individual pieces is normal and is not a fault.
We photograph our products as accurately as we can, but screens differ. Colour on your device may not exactly match the item you receive.
Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. We do not store your card details.
Returns
Our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy form part of these terms.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including the Unmuted Original name and marks, product designs, photography, and written content — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.
Acceptable use
Please do not use this site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, or scrape or copy its content for commercial use.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, customs delays, supplier failure, industrial action or extreme weather.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
