Refund policy

Every Unmuted piece is made when you order it. We still want you to be able to change your mind.

30-day returns

You can return any item within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unworn, unwashed, and still has its original tags attached.

How to start a return

Email info@unmutedoriginal.com with your order number and the item you would like to return. We aim to reply within one business day with a returns reference and the address to send it to.

Please do not post anything back before contacting us. Returns received without a reference take considerably longer to trace and process.

Return postage

Return postage is at your own cost. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot refund items that do not reach us.

If an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, we cover return postage in full.

Refunds

Once your return arrives and has been checked, we refund the full price you paid to your original payment method. We aim to process refunds within 3 business days of receipt, and always within 14 days.

Your bank or card issuer may take a few days longer to show the funds in your account.

Exchanges

The fastest way to change size or colour is to return the original for a refund and place a new order. Because each piece is made to order, holding an exchange open would leave you waiting twice.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as ordered, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photograph. We will replace it or refund you in full, including any postage you have paid.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Your right to cancel (UK and EU customers)

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

This right is in addition to our 30-day returns policy above, not instead of it. To cancel, email info@unmutedoriginal.com. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back.
